WordPress 2.6 Has Been Released

Good news! Wordpress 2.6 has been released today!

I’m happy to announce that version 2.6 of WordPress.org is now available, almost a month ahead schedule. Version 2.6 “Tyner,” named for jazz pianist McCoy Tyner, contains a number of new features that make WordPress a more powerful CMS: you can now track changes to every post and page and easily post from wherever you are on the web, plus there are dozens of incremental improvements to the features introduced in version 2.5.

Wow! Wordpress is becoming the most popular blog platform, and it is also a powerful Content Manage System. This version has a lot of new features. It doesn’t take a long time for them to release this new version, you know, it seems version 2.5 is not so old.

Wordpress is nearly perfect, but it still has a disadvantage I think, that is, the Editor is not so powerful, it will be better if this editor is as powerful as DreamWeaver.
