In fact, if you can’t accept credit cards, you will lose a large percentage of your sales. Vendors who offer a wide variety of payment options usually make more sales. You want to make it as easy as possible for people to buy from you. This will increase your sales and your popularity as a seller! Another popular form of payment you should accept is Paypal.
Keep an eye out for bargains that you can re-sell at a profit on Ebay. It’s not hard to find liquidation type prices from businesses that are truly going out of business. This can be a great way to get a bunch of the same item to sell. Another favorite method used by many are yard sales, flea markets, and even sometimes online deals. You might be able to clear out some older or damaged stock and still sell it at a profit online. You have stay alert because there will always be deals popping up – you only need to be ready to see them.
You can profit on Ebay in many ways, and there are literally millions of things you could potentially sell. Just think of your online auction business the same way you would any other kind of business. The nice thing about Ebay is that it can be done in your spare time, so before you make a major commitment to making money online, you can figure out if internet marketing is really right for you!

Marketing research involves the identification, collection, analysis, and circulation of information. Each phase of this process is important. You need to identify or define the marketing research problem or opportunity and then determine what information is needed. All of the information and recommendations are then provided in a format that allows the information to be used for management decision making and to be used directly to check the flow of your web site traffic. It should be emphasized that marketing research is conducted to assist management in decision making and is not: a means or an end in itself.

One research design is often used more by researchers. You may start with research to get background information, then conduct a focus group. Also you could do a full nation-wide survey in order to retrieve specific information for your client. Marketing information is observing the environment of your location and the competitions location. Small scale surveys and focus groups are low cost ways to gather information from existing and potential customers. Most secondary data (statistics, demographics, etc.) is available to the public in libraries or on the internet and can be easily accessed by small business owners.

There are two types of SEO to think about when you are looking at starting an on line campaign. There is onsite and then there is offsite optimization. The search engines look at your site from a number of angels so in order to achieve good placement on their pages you must learn to master both sides of the SEO equation.

This means that the more specific your web pages are to a search term, the more likely you will achieve good rankings. More importantly, Real Estate is local, so don’t just use the term “real estate’ as a keyword. use “Miami Beach Front Property Real Estate” in the title and content of your page and you will get way more hungry buyers that are specifically seeking just that information out.
Then comes the central page content and this should also be defined and clarified by the nearby subject matter. Writing good quality and unique content is a ability and as with anything it takes practice to get good at it. You know your subject better than most, so you can really communicate your viewpoint in a unique way that can draw clients to you. It is essential that you remain professional and be sure that your subject matter reads well. Just be natural in the use of your keywords and phrases, and as you are writing just sprinkle them in the beginning and end of your articles.If you seek to use your key work phrases over and over the search engines can detect it as they look at the density of your keywords. This ploy will only lead to dropping the quality of your website visitors experience and therefore the search engines will likely punish your website with a lower quality score. It will also most likely lead to a high bounce rate.
Picking your sites name by buying a keyword specific Uniform Resource Locater (URL) is a good way to rank highly for your term. But if you have a site name by now don’t be bothered as your content and page headers will make up for this over time. If you decide to develop a number of sites, as many top sellers do then next go round include key phrases relating to page content. It is of value if your site names can be both short and memorable. Use of alt text for images on your site is often overlooked in onsite optimization, but is a powerful tool. As the search engines come to your site they index your images along with the text on the page, so it is worth using keyword phrases in alt text on your images. There are readers that are used by the visually impaired that read the tags on your images, so using alt text is also a courtesy to people have web accessibility issues. Once again, more is not better so do not go the path of ALT tag stuffing, which would not only hinder usability for the visually impaired but would hurt your rank in the search engines as much as keyword stuffing does.
As the spiders come along from the search engines they come by and look at your header tags, that are behind the scenes on your page. These are called Meta Tags and should incorporate key phrase variations such as pluralizations along with a keyword rich explanation of your site that clients will read on the search engine page results. In view of the fact that these denote the subject of your page it is seen by search engines as an over view to the key phrases being targeted for that page and that page only.
It is valuable to be aware of that each of these onsite SEO factors are of value. So as you create your page, or have your web master attend to it, or the kid down the block, begin at the top with the URL purchase then move to your header tags and the page titles. These are weighted the most by the search engine algorithms. Then focus on your content as in the end all factors need to be considered if top rankings on the search engines are to be achieved for the most competitive key phrases.

Using Coupons to Promote Your Business

Coupons are tokens ? usually in the form of documents (say tickets) or digital codes, through which a business offers discounts to the buyers (and prospective buyers) of its products. They are among the most under-utilized business promotional tools, yet they offer a business a good opportunity to grow to the next level.
There are at least two ways through which a business owner can promote their enterprise using coupons, which are basically described as ?discount tokens? ? that is documents or codes which a business gives to its customers or prospective customers, so that upon entering the code or showing the document which makes up the coupon when making a purchase, they can get the discount contained therein (in the coupons).
The first way through which you can promote your business to the next level using coupons is by using the said coupons to introduce new buyers to your product (whether it is a good or a service). The idea is to develop the coupons, which can be anything from physical tickets or similar ?documents? for use in a brick and mortar store to alphanumerical codes for use in an online store, then start offering them to prospects ? people who are likely to be purchase whatever you have to offer ? and encouraging them to purchase it (the product you offer), with the promise of attractive discounts if they show the coupon when making their purchase. This way, a person who was thinking of buying what you have to offer, and who was comparing the pros and the cons of getting it from you or your competitors (who might not be offering coupons at that point in time) is more than likely to opt for you, if only for the discount in the coupon.
In that way, too, coupons can be used to lure customers from competitors (like where they get to see the opportunity to making a significant saving by opting to buy from you rather than from a non-coupon offering competitor). Where the aim in offering coupons is to lure customers from competitors though, the discount in them has to be huge enough to cut off loyalty ties, which often run very deep.
And the third way through which you can employ coupons to grow your business is where the coupons are used as a way to maintain a pre-existent client base, like where every time a customer makes a purchase, they are offered a coupon guaranteeing them a discount (even if it?s a small one) the next time they are to make a purchase, and which can work wonders in ensuring that they always come back to you; as it sends the message that you at least appreciate doing business with them.
The money to finance the coupons can come from your marketing budget, where instead of splashing money on marketing campaigns that target people who would never, for their lives, buy what you have to offer; you get a way to target ?better prospects? offering them something that sends the subconscious message that you care for them and appreciate their business.

How to Attract Buyers to any Website.

If you are into marketing on the Internet, you will be marketing a website of one kind or another. Maybe you own the URL of that web site or youre promoting a generic link which contains your affiliate code.
Whether you own the site or not, the problem remains the same – how do you get enough interested visitors to your site, so that, if they like your product and can afford it, they will have a chance to buy it, before they get bored and move on.
This is the most important problem that faces every single Internet marketer and it is called attracting targeted traffic, getting relevant visitors or something similar. It all comes to the same thing ultimately. If no one can see your product, they cannot buy it or if your visitors are mainly young people interested in swimming, it is no good trying to sell them parachutes.
So, obviously you need as many visitors to your website, who are interested in your product, as you can handle. This means that you need to be highly ranked in the search engines so that people can find your site. The biggest and most often-used search engine is Google. So, how do you get your site ranked highly in Google?
There are millions of books and ebooks on the subject, but without exception, the serious ones come to the same conclusion (unless they were written by self-interested safe-list or traffic exchange owners) and that conclusion is that you need links to your site.
Not many people will honestly admit to knowing how Google ranks sites in its search engine, but it is generally agreed that the more sites linking to your site the better. This has lead some webmasters to try exchanging links with each other. It sounds an easy way to get links but it doesn’t work because Google can recognize reciprocal links. The best links are one-way links, because it proves that someone places enough value on your website to want to be associated with it. These are called back links.
That means that the real problem boils down to how to get enough back links to your website to persuade Google (and the other search engines) that you run such an important website that they ought to rank it highly for your chosen keywords, which should be relevant to the content of your website. How do you do that?
There are several strategies you can use such as traffic exchanges, safelists, FFAs, forums and writing articles, but to be honest, the first three of these are a total waste of time. I used to own a safelist and have wasted many thousands of hours on traffic exchanges. Posting to forums can be useful, but then ONLY if the link on your post is a follow link. If it is not, it doesnt do any good at all and most are no follow links. This means that you have to do some research to find the forums where your post is worth placing (more on this later). That leaves writing articles as the ONLY sure way to get rock-solid back-links to your site based on your site’s relevant keywords.
So, you write an article on a subject relevant to your site stuffed (but not over-stuffed) with relevant keywords and then what? Thats easy! You search Google for article directories and blogs, sign up to a couple of dozen and post your article to them.
And that is the way to get the sort of links to get your site highly ranked, so that people can find you and have a chance to buy what you are selling. The only catch is that Google will expect to see new links appearing on the Internet on a regular basis, which means writing and posting time after time after time after time ad infinitum. Or does it?
Yes, it does, unfortunately. But the process can be automated and automation is the key to online marketing success. Set up a proven, successful process and let it run ” day and night: all day and all night! I use a system that helps turn an article into thousands of variations and posts them to thousands of search engines, directories, lists and websites, creating literally thousands of back-links!
But don’t think that these variations are just spun! (The industry standard way of creating article variations is to use spinning software to substitute synonyms and pseudo-synonyms eg crimson for scarlet in a random way. This works to a certain degree but can produce pure gibberish too sometimes – who would recognize Crimson O’Hara?). The system I use does not employ this method, but still produces thousands or variants all written by human hand. Then it sends them out to article directories and blogs etc.. Thousands of them. In fact today, there are over 11,000 sites on their list and the list is kept fresh on a monthly basis. Most similar lists are not well maintained because it is so time-consuming to do. Therefore, many contain lots of dead, useless links.
This system takes your article, creates thousands of variations and then posts them to thousands of sites. All with your sites link in the by-line, which can also be varied. But not only that! It only posts your article to lists and categories that deal with sites like yours (based on your chosen keywords) and posts according to a schedule chosen by you: ie 10, 20, 50, 100, 1,000 posts a day, starting on any future date you choose! So, for example, you could write three articles and have the first one go out starting the next day at 150 a day; the second one starting after seven days at 150 sites a day; and the third starting after two weeks at a rate of 75 sites a day.
That would give your site at least 3,000 links in a month or 100 a day ” all for 2-3 hours work! If you wrote one article a day (an hours work) and it got posted to only 1,000 relevant sites, you would have 30,000 relevant links in a month. And that does not include the bloggers, ezine publishers and webmasters who paste your article into their publication with your link. You could easily end up with 40-50k links. But it doesnt even stop there, because the article will be live for years and years, quietly beavering away at getting you noticed by the search engines and the people searching them. How many sales could that get you?
