Many Wall Street analysts’ ever predicted Google earnings will greatly decrease because of turmoil in the US economy, but the truth is quite different.
Google reported $5.54 billion in revenue for third-quarter, which represented a 31 percent increase over the same period last year. Net income was more than $1.5 billion. Google’s second-quarter revenue increased 31 percent to $5.54 billion, up from $4.23 billion for the equivalent period in 2007.
Here are some graphs showing Google earnings on Third-quarter 2008.
So now one thing is clear, that is, no matter how bad the global economy is, Google will still be the Internet’s juggernaut in both power and profits, this can’t be changed.
Congratulation to Google!
