  • 4 SEO Secrets
By User ImageDingchao Han on February 14th, 2008 | No Comments Comments

Some say SEO is too hard to learn, in fact, it is not true. According to my 3 years’ SEO experience, I have come up with 4 SEO secrets for you to learn, here they are:

    1. Anchor text links

Link is the most important thing in SEO. But don’t think all links to your site will do good for you, in fact, only anchor text and relevant links will do good for your websites. So keep one thing in mind, the more anchor text and relevant links you get, the higher your PR (Google Page Rank)  will be.

    2. Update frequently

All search engines like fresh contents, so make sure that you update your website frequently. For blog, you’d better update it at least 3 times per week. The more contents you update, the more traffic you will receive, and the higher PR you will get.

    3. Optimizing for as many search engines as possible

There is no doubt you should focus on Google, Yahoo, MSN (3 most important search engines), but you should spend some time on optimizing for other search engines. The more search engines love your sites, the higher PR your sites will get.

    4. Write for human, not just for search engines

Many webmasters have forgotten one thing, that is, your readers will read your contents, and your final customers are human, not search engines. So it is very clear that you should always write good contents for your readers, not useless contents for search engines.

If you always keep these secrets in your mind, there is no doubt your sites will get higher PR.

  • The Fate Of SEO
By User ImageDingchao Han on February 14th, 2008 | No Comments Comments

Google has taken actions! It has begun to kill websites which selling links. This is really a bad news for many webmasters who are earning their lives by selling links. But in my opinion, it is a good news in the long run.

In fact, selling links makes search engines like Google be unfair, it leads websites that have more money get higher Page Rank, this is unfair.

Now I begin to think, what will the fate of SEO be? In my opinion, SEO must focus on on-pages optimization, not off-pages optimization. This will be the fate of SEO.
